Testimonials

"Let's talk about real solutions."

Lyndon Brown
Thirteenth Ave. PTA President and Parent Advocate
Newark Public Schools, Newark NJ

Mr. White was diligent in ensuring that parents were fully informed of their rights & responsibilities under the No Child Left Behind Act thru parent leadership meetings and individual consultations.

I attended the National PTA Conference in Charlotte, NC in 2004 and the National Fatherhood Initiative Conference in Atlanta, Ga. in 2006, with Mr. White. What was profound about these experiences with Mr. White was the insight and guidance that he extended to a first-time delegate who might have been otherwise overwhelmed by the magnitude of the attendance at conventions and the numerous workshops that were offered.

The assistance that I received from Mr. White, as a local PTA President and Father's Club President is something that I will always remember and continue to pass on.

Wilhelmina Holder
Secondary Parent Council President and Parent Advocate
Newark Public Schools, Newark NJ

Anthony White's counsel on innumerous projects as Supervisor of Parental Involvement for the Newark Public School District regularly benefited parents, individuals, or parent organizations, such as PTA's, PTO's, Secondary Parent Council, Father's Club, and other parent groups.

You know that Mr. White made a difference in the lives of children and their parents when the parents of the district organized his retirement party. Mr. White is a respected member of our family.

It is most difficult to narrow down the innumerous projects that parents, individuals, or parent organizations, such as PTA's, PTO's, Secondary Parent Council, Father's Club, and other parent groups regularly benefited from Anthony White's counsel as Supervisor of Parental Involvement for the Newark Public School District.

Mr. White's service was professional and parent friendly. He spoke with parents and offered good advice and navigational tools that helped us understand that our [parent] power was within.

Mr. White’s involvement as a logistics expert on community projects truly benefited our children. For example, Mr. White was always available to the High School Academic Support Program in helping set up for the various college fairs.

Mr. White’s assistance benefited our information sessions for SAT/ACT testing, School Leadership Council Training, Legislative Advocacy at both state and federal levels, and his guidance for parents through the special education morass.

It was important to Mr. White that parents knew their rights, clearly articulated their concerns, and asked the right questions. We have learned from Mr. White to use the aforementioned tools to empower ourselves.

My late companion was a member of his Father's Club and he, with great anticipation, looked forward to Wednesday nights when the men would meet with Mr. White to discuss education concerns from a male's perspective.
